Winner: Sardis
13:43:28 Sardis subtle vibrations in the fabric of space and time would ripple above the arena causing the emergence of a small speck of light above this place of death. The speck grew, fed from those vibrations, seeming to be a miniature universe unto itself with stars and planets spinning in it's minuscule yet infinite depths. This universe had changed however. No longer only the positive, this universe held within it the elements of creation. The light began to grow rabidly pulling energy directly from the bonds of the air around it as they broke and glowing brighter as it shifted into a form reminiscent of a seven sided star of pure light. The points began to lengthen taking new forms as legs, arms, a head, and finally two metallic wings emerged from that light. Sardis stepped forward from his realm into the material plane. His sapphire eyes surveyed the arena his opponent should be here soon, and then he could bring his new skills to bear. Those bladed wings would twitch slightly, tinking off of each other in a<c>
13:43:37 Sardis subtle melody, as the figure descended into the stands. Those wings appeared to heavy to keep the figure aloft, there was obviously something else about him that kept this being lighter than air when needed.
13:46:51 [~Leviathan~] «†» Sighed slihglty as he wlake dinto the Arena, yes walked, nothing fancy. He walked through the sotne corridors that led into the pits, and his eyes fell upon the man who had entered moments before. He nodded slightly as he entered the pit. 6 auras would be felt aorund him as he entered, these would reamin unknown for a minute. He sighed as he stood there, waiting for the man to start. «†»
13:52:27 Sardis ah yes, his opponent had arrived. Sardis looked over the man for a moment, examining him in the weave of reality, and quirked an eyebrow. Six auras? It appeared that his opponent had already made preparations for this little encounter. Those bladed wings would reach out into existence, resting ever so gently on the threads, and begin to trace. Arcane symbols would begin to appear in the air around the figure, filling not just the material plane, but every point where Sardis was connected to existence. Sigils of protection rested alongside others with more menacing uses. For a brief moment, the air around the angelic being seemed to be a scroll upon which was written the battle that would soon take place. When that moment was done, the glow of those sigils subsided, sinking into Sardis' form. He would step form the stands, and float slowly down into the arena.
13:58:46 [~Leviathan~] «†» He watched his opponents display of power, and watched him flaot into the Arena. The auras expanded momentarily, and then subsided again as he waited for the man to reach the pits. His hands would be shoved deep into his pcokets, and he waited, all he ever seemed to do, wait. «†»
15:29:47 Sardis his opponent didn't exactly seem eager to get things started here. Sardis would watch the man for a few moments and sigh. It appeared that he would have to initiate their little challenge. Blades from Sardis' wings would shove into the earth of the pit sending vibrations through the arena until the sand and bloodied dirt would explode into the air in a cloud surrounding his opponent. Pulling the threads of earth inward, his wings would twitch and begin to contract the cloud around Leviathan. Normally it would be easier to contract if that which was in the middle moved out of the way, mainly the air. Sardis had other plans however as the air would be caught in this contraction. As the earthen shell contracted, it would place tremendous pressure on the air inside and cause the heat to rise. This heat would be grasped by Sardis and twisted in upon itself even more to the point where it would superheat everything in that sphere. If Leviathan wasn't just consumed by the flame, he would likely be shelled up <c>
15:29:49 Sardis inside a molten prison of earth. At that point, Sardis would pull back, drawing the heat rapidly from the place where Leviathan was and causing the molten earth to cool into one solid crystal. Those blades that were not grasping earth and fire would reach out through the planes, sending subtle vibrations along the pathway between the cerebral and the material. The important word here was subtle. They would start weaker than a breath at first, only beginning to build when the attack on the material plane had reached it's climax. Those vibrations weren't meant to sever the tie between Leviathan and his mind though, merely to alter it so slowly that he would likely not even notice himself becoming a vegetable until it was too late.
15:41:09 [~Leviathan~] «†» Simply stood still as the cloud was brought up and around him, and he was super heated, and trapped in a solidified crystaline like structure, and then his mind was tainted by Sardis. However, the flmae consumed him, melted him even. Why did he just take this, because the Levi that had just been destroyed, was noit the real one, the real Leviathan had yet to make his entrance, and he wouldn't until his puppets failed him. Yet another Leviathan formed form a blakc misty like substance, and stood, that same bored look on his face, and the 6 auras tranfered to this being, moving aournd him like nothing. He held his hand out, pointed toward the man, and a simple spark formed on his palm, from this spark, formed a fire, and this fire fomred a jet, lurching out, obsidiain flmaes attempted to melt this man. «†»
15:52:32 Sardis a puppet? Well that would have saved Leviathan on this plane, but puppets were not their masters and Sardis had attacked Leviathan's mind directly. The flame and the molten sphere might not have done anything, but Leviathan still had the little problem of his mind slowly weakening. Concentrating on controlling puppets, especially this many, would make it even harder for the other to notice as those Subtle vibrations shifted his consciousness ever so slightly until he could do hardly more than sit there and drool. As for the jet of flame shooting toward him. Sardis would merely let his sigils handle it, specifically those with an elemental charge of ice. Those sigils would become visible again and glow brightly releasing their energy into that jet and filling the arena with steam. Sardis would feed that steam until the fog became so thick that people would not be able to see more than a few feet in front of their faces. Perhaps the puppet master could control blind, but perhaps not.
15:56:14 [~Leviathan~ whispers to Sardis] Tell me, how long will it take for him to become a carrot, i don't want to be a noob or anything.
15:59:01 [Sardis whispers to ~Leviathan~] It's a slow process, think of it kind of like getting high. The longer you're exposed the worse it's going to be. In a few turns you would be dumb as a brick
15:59:50 [~Leviathan~ whispers to Sardis] Aye...so abouyt 3 posts then...alrigt...getting high...your char is a drug dealer, lol
16:00:10 [Sardis whispers to ~Leviathan~] well this is post 2, so be careful
16:08:06 [~Leviathan~] «†» So he was still going to turn into a cucumber, oh well, he'd have to make this count. His puppets would convulse slighlty as Leviatahn was to make his entrance. Tearing forth through flesh, the puppet contineued to convulse, and suddenly, form the front of his shirt, a hand burst forth, spewing blood and guts all over the floor, and the puppet collapsed as the real Leviathan tore forth from it's gut, and stood now, looking at Sardis, he was feeling alittle bit of wear on his mind, soon he'd be a vegetable. He grinned, his blood covered figure, vanished, simply no longer standing where he was, and appeared behind him, a blade, held in both his hands, in mid swing at the back of his neck. This action was done in less than a mili second, so this made dodging very difficult. «†»
16:28:23 Sardis perhaps the effect had already damaged Leviathan's mind more than enough. After all, Leviathan knew what Sardis looked like, which meant he knew that the Angelic being had wings literally composed of thousands of razor blade like feathers. Sardis' reaction was quite simple. The blades closest to his neck would fold inward forming a shield over his back while the rest of his 25 foot wingspan would spread out to try and surround the man and shred him to pieces. How had his opponent put it? Oh yes, This action was done in less than a milisecond, so this made dodging very difficult.
16:36:31 [~Leviathan~] «†» HIs sword clanged against the wings, and he cursed as he vanished again, the wing closing in on themselves, doing no damage supposedly. Levi reappeared, his mind rattled now, barely abale to concentrate, and so, he would do one last thing in an attmept to kill him before vegetablizing. So he vanished, appearing in front of him, and attemptiong to latch onto him, in a bear hug type fashion, he would care about the wings. Creating Gamm Radiation, that in tunr damaged him int he process, he would excreate it from his body, himself melting, and attempting to melt the metal form the intense heat he left off now. And yet another final action, the orbs behind him would begin to go into a nuclear meltdown, the atoms inside, moving erracticly and finally splitting to create an explosion that would destroy the Arena, and anything in it. ((NOt sure if i explain the nuclear bomb right, but you get the picture)) «†»
