Sympozium Reaching into his full length jacket he pulls free a small silver box. Kneeling down where he stood, gaze fixing on Fenris, he thrusts the box into the soil. Rising to his full height he steps back, gaze not once wavering. The ground trembling slightly begins to grey around the impact area, cracking and drying out. The deadening soil stretches menacingly towards Fenris, the terrain becomming barren and dead in an undulating fassion, radiating from the initial strike point. From the depths of the cracks burst tendrils of mechanical origin, rising up around Fenris, almost caging him in. "Wanna take on a Planet?" comes a sibilant voice from among the barren landscape, Sympozium having faded into the background without much notice.
Fenris Sympozium planted the box. Fenris already focusing was capable of calling upon his inner potence. "Been there done that..." he told the male. He then rushed forward as he felt the the ambient creations corruption assumedly done by the box. His movement was fast. And though he may not have been privy to the tendrils which would erupt before they did so, his natural aggression served him well and saw him seek to close the distance at Sympo before the effect could take place. Power gathering as he growled which was focused into the sword creating a high frequency oscillation that permeated from within the blade saturated the weapons being. Intending to bring the blade down before he reached Sympo and aligning its tip with the males chest, where upon Fenris' movement and his positioning of his sword would threaten to make contact with Sympo's chest unless he took counter measures. As he moved however a black fog seemed to leave his body and drifted in his wake staying stationary for now.
Sympozium gaze fixed upon Fenris from the first moment, his unperturbed features watching with mild interest as the form of Fenris continues his approach, damage already done, the seed planted he simply rolls aside, the fade effect perhaps not taking hold as he'd wished. breaking into a short dash to increase the distance between the overstepped form of fenris, the tendrils bursting free from the barren earth, black machinery starts to appear from the cracks in the soil, transformation already under way a twin strike from two nearby tendrils swipe venomously at Fenris forcing his defense.
Fenris Forcing a defense from the Lupine was more easily said than done. As the male rolled about, Fenris could have pursued but instead he focused that "growl" upon his blade making it hummmmm with great oscillation. He turned in place swinging the sword around him as the "sound" focused itself into a cutting edge using the ambient air as the medium which would result in a 20 foot "sonicscythe" that could easily rend through tough metal as Fenris put some power into it. The intent was not only to cut the tendrils in half but also the reach would allow the direction of the cut to carry through to Sympo, kicking up dust as it rended through the earth intending to cut him with the temporary reach extension that would threaten to cut upward towards the males side. As this was done the mist which he had also released the previous post would suddenly move of its own accord particles of dark mettaloid-like structure seeking to saturate Sympo.-
[Fenris] -Despite his offensive defense Fenris sought to move through the tendrils as he simultaneously cut them and leapt up at the last moment rising into the air leaving another haze of dark mist in his wake, 3/4 pieces of his "bloodsteel" in play now.
8 Sympozium The actions of Fenris do little to surprise him, mild interest deflates to mere irritation at this point. Raising a hand to meet the impending sonic vibrations, laughter rippling forth as a blue light emits in a conical shape about his form deflecting effortlessly the vibrations. Cocking his head to one side, he watches intently as the cutting down of tendrils spills billions of nanites from the interior of the long tentacle machines. Infected with nanites both the blade and the master begin to manifest an imprint of mechanisation. The blade becoming more irregular in shape, the masters veins being re-routed to increase the effort for blood to flow. The floating shadow entity begins to take a more pressing target as the nanites are completely supressing the area by which they were spilled. Lowering his hand and clentching both fists a series of lines begin to emit light from all over his body, the light continues to grow in power and intensity, blinding all who look upon and diminishing all shadows to...
13:58:17 Sympozium ...nothing. In that moment alll that exists in the realm of shadow is light.
The cut of the Blade was non-physical as it was sonic, plus the wake would scatter the nanites and perhaps even destroy them as they burst out. Regardless his movement and releasing of the mist as he jumped would allow that mist to saturate the nanites if the wake of the "sonicscythe"was not enough, The adaptive "Bloodsteel" well capable of dealing with infections, as those nanites sought to infect those particles the particles would seek to mimic the nanites, not totally but in such a way that they would allow the mist to deal with them and adapt. Sympo had done nothing to stop himself from being saturated by the first cluster however, and as the light began to eminate from the body, the dark particles would actually be reflective enough to impede the sudden flashflare of brilliance. Now moving on Sympo to cover him completely in it as Fenris began to build power once again while moving in the air, his Primoris cloak spreading out allowing a controlled glide towards the stands of the arena as the final-
14:10:16 [Fenris] - "haze" was released. Essentially there were 3 black clouds in the arena now. One seeking to deal with the nanites, one seeking to deal with Sympo himself, and one simply remaining stationary in the air. Though there was a fourth symbiote in play, the blade he was using.
Sympozium The initial impact of the 'sonicscythe' cut onto the blue radiance eminating from his form intensifies the electro-accoustics of his electro-magnetic sheild. This reaction essentially acts as amplification, sending the sonic wave back at a much greater amplitude, creating whats known as a concussive wave. This wave radiates away from the impact point in a cyclonic fashion shredding at the smoky mist that Fenris seemed to have deposited. A smirk dancing across his features as more fissures in the soil open up revealing heavy weapons platforms as they slowly rise from the ground, the nanites hard at work converting the minerals in the planets crust to generate a hostile mechanical environment for Fenris to deal with. Weapons training on Fenris, the somewhat slowed nanites unable to complete their task on the weapon Fenris has been using, switch to a new task. A glistening shell begins to form around the weapon as if a cocoon, rendering it inert from the outside by placing it inside a grid of inertial....
Sympozium dampening. The ones seeking to infiltrate Fenris body direct disengage and simply revert to simple machinery, causing a kind of beacon from each invidividual unit. The concussive wave begins bearing down on Fenris leaving him in a position of uncertainty. Weapons platforms opening up to reveal a series of sensor arrays and cannon ends, the main firing mechanisms hidden by the platform itself. A shudder of the earth demonstrates there is more to come.
/me Fenris already highly mobile and actively zipping around would not have remained stationary long enough for the concussive wave to make contact as he as already moving off line from the origin of his previous attack. He continued to gather power, however he knew now he would have to "<i>focus</i>" lessening the binding of the material upon his form allowing him to synchronize with the ambient creation. Not so much his opponents nanite-system but the forces and powers which governed the cosmos. As the nanites sought to engulf his bloodsteel in a mechanical cocoon, the haze would begin to rotate in a series of conflicting rings disrupting the nanites ability to gather and craft the intended "prison". The haze in the way of the redirected concussive force would dissipate and spread around Sympozium in a less dense but wider radius. As the third would drift into the ground itself-
-seeking to slip through the earth towards Sympo as Fenris turned in his glide to send him towards Sympo himself. Fenris realizing the longer this dragged out the more Sympo could do. He had to solve the problem at its apparent <i>source</i>. The blade in his hand shifting to a transperant hoplonic shield as Fenris would sharpen his descent and then dip slightly upward sending him straight forward at Sympo shield first, moving towards Sympo in the midst of the turrets would mean if they started shooting they would also risk hitting Sympo as well, while the ring of haze that surrounded Sympo would enclose into a more dense fog.-
-Causing the bloodsteel to create an "veil" of fluxuating black coloured reflective matter. Essentially seeking to block off sensory stimuli from entering or leaving the area scrambling and dampening sound, blocking vision but being an extension of Fenris acting as a "sonar" to him. This would be done to further complicate the turrets ability to aim, while also making it harder for Sympo to gauge the nuances of Fenris' descent, which if successful would see Fenris bash Sympo with the shield and continue moving pushing against him with enough initial force to break through a reasonably thick concrete wall, though this was just a byprodut of his movement speed, he was still gathering his focus.
Sympozium As the consuccion wave spirals out in its cyclonic motion, the ground begins buckling beneath the strain, soil and earth erupting in hails of stone and debris causing a kind of terrain 'haze'. This haze impairing the ability of Fenris to reach his optimum speed and more importantly allowing a direct escape route for himself, directly down. A cavern had opened up beneath where he had once stood and as such where Fenris was now headed. Landing with a heavy thud of steel capped boots upon a large metallic surface, the rumbling mentioned earlier intensifies, following this the weapons platforms exposed a short time ago open up suppressive fire in all directions as the terrain starts to lift menacingly towards Fenris further increasing his approach, a shimmer of gold erupting from beneath. Rising from the depths of the Arena and showing itself for what it truly was is a large combat Cruiser. The Argonaut, still rising, surrounded by it multiphasic shielding shreds the remaining terrain into mere dust....
/me Fenris would apparently miss Sympo as he was forced to slow and block stony shrapnel with his shield. Sympo sank into the earth, but the piece of bloodsteel that had sought to slip through the earth was still heading towards him. Had Fenris known that Sympo would go into the ground? Or was it just luck? Perhaps a bit of both. Regardless as Sympo sank into the ground the cloudy haze that had drifted into the earth would burst in front of him slipping through the wall as a haze and then exploding forth seeking to engulf and saturate the male with the particles suddenly as soon as Sympo dropped down. Perhaps Sympo was now realizing how relentless, tenacious, and aggressive an opponent Fenris was. The suppressive laser fire was randomized allowing him to evade most of the shots by simple luck, the few that grazed and made direct hits would find themselves either hitting his cloak which could resist/absorb most kinds of energy save kinetic force. Or his shield which in turn saw the laser shots' thermal
energy absorbed.-
-and redirected through the bloodsteel which sought to saturate Sympozium as Fenris poured energy into it to increase the thermal power seeking to perhaps burn through him, but more so creating such a large heat-signature that the warheads would be diverted towards Sympo himself, or rather the general area of the ship if they could not saturate Sympo. The suppressive fire still managing to divert Fen's path. He in turn had finished lessening his bond with the material focusing it into the shield which would suddenly "Flare" out with silver fire the colour of it seemingly blending in with the ambient. This would allow him to break through the outer wall of the arena and force his way outside as the coliseum may or may not have exploded from the missiles.
Sympozium Becomming bogged down with this infectious mist like substance the Argonaut begins procedure to ensure the safety of its creator. Performing constant scans of his life signs and biometric rhythms, Argonaut detects the changes in his vitals and as such uses a energy transference method of transport, removing all that was Sympozium according to stored bio data on board the ships main computer core, the Misty 'symbiote' left hanging in the air without the target it was intended. As Argonaut rises it overides control of the missiles and sends them raining down in random directions to the soil below. Rematerialising inside the vessel, interfacing with the main computer his next move as he begins to take in the destruction and Fenris fleeing form. Aware of the persistent nuisance of a symbiote, he vents atmosphere from the vessel with the exception of the interface containment chamber he now resides in, forcing out any intrusion into the vessel to direct contact with the transphasic shielding for shredding....
Sympozium purposes, the metal the ship is made from must be mentioned at this point, it is constructed from a Zero Point method of alloy amalgamation, following this the metal is designed to withstand direct contact with the centre of a star. The molecules impervious to anything short of a supernova demonstrate the level of advanced technology that went into its construction. Taking position above the decimated Arena, Sympozium commands the Argonaut to begin firing its main cannon, located on its underside, directly to the core of the planet. The response to this is a violent lurch from the planet shifting on its rotational axis as the beam of super heated plasma surges to the core of the world.
Fenris was not fleeing, he was <i>evading</i> and being tactical. This fight transcended the need to fight in such a "confined" space as an -Arena-. Those missiles probably reducing the arena to rubble. He ended the drifting motion into a roll as his bloodsteel was scattered from the explosions and was drawn back to him. Already having lessened his "bindings" that limited his form, that silvery light would crawl up his forearms, as the shield transformed into a Zeihander. As the ship rose above the rubble, Fenris already having gathered his power focus his intent into the sword, and his arms. That silvery light eminating as he cleaved down. A force would eminate from the arc, traversing the cosmos itself and forcing potential energy to manifest into a self destructive "spasm" that would cause the mediums of the cosmos to split and seperate only to be filled with more of the ambient space. Essentially a "Cosmic-Cut" that sought to strike through the shields and influence its energy into a manifestation that would split the shield and continue to the ship itself where upon contact the ambient energy of the-
-ship would be influenced into a self destructive "Seperation" or splitting of the solid matter potentially cutting the ship in twain or at the very least forcing it to take -large scale- defensive measures that would impede its ability to make its offensive measures. This could not be stopped with "durability". This would also mean to strike through the cannon that shot at the core splitting the energy apart and scattering/dissipating it to redirect the energy harmlessly into the sky and the rubble of the arena. Fenris leaping up as he did so to close distance at the ship.
Sympozium Diversionary tactic having been successful in attracting a full force assult on the vessel left him with a simple manuever to ensure an end to this, Fenris committed to his attack was taken by surprise by the sudden absence of the Argonaut. Having opened a subspace window and entering FLT the engines leaving a rift in space to which this cosmic energy simply ignites the atmosphere the gasses once protecting the planet burning up into nothing causing mass explosive decompression on a planetary scale. With the absence of breathable air and the vacuum of space pulling at all angles the gory details shall be omitted. The Argonaut leaving behind another dead planet. It simply floating in the blackness of space a 'short' distance away from what remained of the deadened hulk of rock in space. Fenris jettisoned into the void in this brutal maneuver.
/me Fenris was not mortal, nor was he a "physical" being if that as not already obvious. Considering earlier Fenris had redirected Sympos own attack back at him, which had been evaded with little effort, it was not really an assumption but an indication that Fenris could do the same. The Nature of the attack would not cause such large scale destruction. It was not that kind of attack, it was a focused "cut" that being all it as -meant- to do. The rift meeting the cut would actually simply just cancel each other out forcing a rippling effect to ensue that would be more or less harmless. However it seemed the other had left the area in his FTL traveling maneuver leaving Fenris wondering who the threat had been.

(Keep in mind the final round seemed a bit of a copout. If he left the atmosphere and went directly into FTL travel. He did not even prep for this, nor made any calculations which could have seen him warp into a star, an asteroid field, etc, nor considered the fact gravity might interfere. I am aware doing such a thing in the middle of a planets atmosphere could have devastating consequences to said planet but from his final post I thought it was reliant on interacting with my attack, though I could have disrupted it regardless. Eitherway the fight more or less ended there, but I think him just pulling out a warpdrive from nowhere and trying to blow up the planet was rather desperate and munchy, as well as imbalanced since he literally tried to destroy a planet to win a simple fight.)
