Name: Hulij-bpe Amedha (Crazy Meat in the Yautja Tongue) Otherwise known as Lidge to most people
Race: Wraith enhanced
Age: 10,000+ in Hibernation for much of that time
Height: 6'8
Weight: 215
Eyes: Silver/Emerald Swirl (Cat slits)
Hair: Silver Braids/Dreadlocks
Speed: 55mph (running) 110mph (armored) Leaping - 55’ (16.775 m) vertically or horizontally and double the jumping distance if running at maximum speed
Lidge began life as any normal Wraith would, feeding from those weaker and working his way into a higher position of power within the hive. His life went on this way for a long time until he encountered what he would later discover was known as a Yautja. He defeated the creature in combat, but became obsessed with it's methods and lifestyle. he forsook his hive and set out to learn the ways of the hunt combining his own wraith knowledge and technology with that of the yautja. He has been slightly advanced using Yautja blood, though it has had little real effect on his physicality. His dreads have become thicker and his skin has darkened becoming more reptilian.
Wraith traits: Wraith have none of the inhibiting proteins that humans have. This trait makes them very durable, and also means that as long as they are properly nourished they won't die of old age. This trait also allows them to heal at incredible rates, and if feeding they heal almost instantly. Wraiths are physically bigger and much stronger than humans. They are also much quicker. They have an inborn psionic ability that allows them to look into people's brains and to dominate them into submission or to search their minds for information. They can also project illusions causing people to see what is not there and vise versa. Wraiths can drain life energy out of other beings. They drain years off of a creature's life and power from the creature in the process.
Lidge's Gear-
The equipment used by the Yautja is primarily of their own design and manufactured under ritualistic conditions. They take great pride in their level of technology, and guard its secrets well. It is considered extremely bad form (although not a punishable offense) to leave anything behind on a hunt that might give any intelligent prey a greater advantage.
Also, note that hunting amongst star-faring societies that have relations with the Yautja is not advised. The chance that it could start some sort of conflict is often too great a risk. The Yautja are not afraid of it, but war always takes time from the hunt, which is their preferred pastime. Hunting at distant colonies or member worlds distant from the core of a region is allowed, however.
As with the weapons, most of the equipment is given to a hunter at their coming of age ceremonies. Some equipment, such as battle armor, is only assigned during periods of war or bug harvesting.
Eqiupment- The following is his standard gear when out and about. If he is carrying anything extra at the time it will be noted. His gear is kept in his ship so if his ship is around he has a full arsenal.
Lidge's Armor -
From out to in, Lidge's armor consists of.
Plasma Shielding- Taken from a protoss Zealot, this system protects the armor from energy based attacks and to some degree physical damage. It absorbs energy from attacks and can render weak energy sources harmless.
Psyramic plating- Also taken from a protoss Zealot, but modified to resemble Yautja hunting armor. This metal closely resembles titanium, but also has properties from copper, iron, and several alloys and ceramics. The armor is light and maneuverable, and chemically treated to resist acid. A yautja's armor is their own personal symbol, it is decorated with trophies and weapons they have won, and customized as each wearer sees fit for the environment or for personal preference. Though Lidge is not a Yautja himself, he has abopted this custom and kept several protoss markings on his armor. When in space, underwater, or when needed to protect the wearer from airborne toxins, special armor plating will emerge from the armor to cover the exposed areas of the body, such as the hands and the head, making the suit fully environmental.
Body Mesh/Padding -Worn underneath their hunting armor, this covering provides warmth and prevents chaffing. Apart from providing electric-generated warmth, it is actually a component of the camouflage device's circuitry, which allows cloaking of un-armored body parts.
Although, as the mesh is seen being worn by most Yautja even when cloaking isn't necessary, it seems they were designed as 'jumpsuits' meant for casual wear in their crafts - the closest they get to flight suits.
Helmet/Respirator - While on safari, the yautja wear a distinctive headgear which serves multiple functions. The helmet provides protection during combat. It also houses an extensive array of surveillance equipment including visual and auditory enhancers as well as diagnostic capabilities. Yautja can access the helmet controls by pressing buttons inside the helmet with their tusks, or from a control panel on their left gauntlet. The controls are customized by the individual hunter, and can be changed in a few minutes. The mask is not only a functional piece of protection, but also a personal identifier. Each mask is customized by its owner in some way, and is presented with their first set of armor.
Visually, the helmet allows the yautja to see the entire spectrum of light from infrared, to visible, to ultraviolet and beyond, the vision modes also include a zoom function. Some of the other uses for vision modes are as follows: Thermal Vision, which highlighted heat signatures and could analyze health and armor weaknesses in prey; Tech vision, which contrasted energy sources and xenomorphs and analyzed a prey's weapon systems and Neuro Vision, which exposed the prey's current emotional status (calm, panicking, hostile, etc.) ,Low-Light Amplification and Air Density Pressure (movement). The visual setting may also be modified for ultrasound, X-rays and Microwaves, with a built-in Magnetometer and a Geiger counter as well as providing an automatic cartographry program. The mask's computer can also provide a bio-readout of the wearer's bodily functions and a compass.
Another feature of the Predator's helmet is its voice translator/recorder. This device can both record and play strips of audio, which a Predator may use to express meaning or catch prey off guard, or to simply listen to the voices of their prey, as if to study their language. The helmet also is used to analyze the materials. The helmet also seems to affect hearing as well; in Predator, when the Predator took its helmet off, it heard things at a much higher pitch than before and slightly more distorted. Using this system allows the wearer to learn a language rather quickly by listening to others speak.
Also, housed within the helmet is a targeting and tracking system for any shoulder mounted weaponry which comprises three corners of an open triangle, to aim at the designated prey. Incorporated to finalize the shot is a lock-on system, as a quarry is decided upon, the designator will zoom a triangle in on the prey from the HUD, which will flash and turn solid red, then fires. This also has a zoom capability so the Predators can see and aim over great distances. This tracking system also allows the Predators to plot trajectories of thrown objects. The tracking/firing system for the plasma caster operates on an electromagnetic frequency which can be used to "track" yautja who are using a shiftsuit.
The helmet also houses a respirator which provides a breathable atmosphere or supplements an environment's atmosphere. The mask also converts gases in the air allowing the Yautja to breathe the nitrogen it needs to survive; in addition to providing an emergency air supply for 30 minutes when no air is present. The respirator is also capable of being used underwater similar to scuba gear. This pressurized system also keeps the mask firmly attached to the hunter's head. The system provides a one month supply of methane. Modified versions of the respirator also exist for space.
As Lidge's suit is powered by Khaydarin Crystals, it weakly radiates psionic energy and all information from the suit is displayed directly into the mind of the wearer, there are no display screens.
Compass and Clock Calendar- Contains a highly accurate compass that automatically aligns itself to a local magnetic field. This system also holds an accurate clock and calendar based on the standard Protoss way of measuring time.
Radiation Shielding- The armor has advanced radiation shielding and is equipped with sensors to monitor the amount of radiation that the body armor is exposed to.
High Temperature Insulation- The armor is designed to resist temperatures up to 300 degrees centigrade. Normal fires inflict no damage, but extremely high temperature fires, such as plasma, inflict full damage.
Temperature Control- Has an internal cooling system and temperature control. Temperature can be set for wearer preferences. The wearer is aware of temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure.
Protective Visor- The visor is polarized and is light sensitive. It adjusts tinting to protect the wearer’s eyes. Polarization darkens quickly to protect against sudden bright lights as well as darkening more slowly to deal with powerful light conditions.
Crystal Communicator- The armor has a device that holds a 2 lb (0.9 kg) Khaydarin Crystal. The crystal allows communication with other Crystal Communicators at a range of 500 miles (804.7 km) and with other communication devices at half that range.
Sensors- The armor has a 3 lb (1.4 kg) Khaydarin Crystal that provides the wearer with the following the ability to sense psionics anddetect invisible or cloaked figures.
Enhancements- Lidge's armor efectively doubles most of his physical attributes including speed and strength.
Audio Waveform Analyzer -A function of the bio-helmet that is usually separate, the Waveform Analyzer reacts to changes in the audio environment. A flux in the displayed waveform indicates the presence of an enemy that may or may not be in a Warriors line of sight.
Sound analyzer - can break down sounds into a raw phonetic pattern, allowing the Hunter to learn how to speak any language, even if it takes him longer to understand it.
Audio booster - can pick up a whisper at 500 feet.
Laser Sight - Usually situated on the opposite side of the helmet from the plasma caster, this laser sight allows accurate targeting and tracking of targets for all weapons linked into it.
Backpack - The body armor consists of 2 parts, mainly the front, which holds extra protection, and the back, which holds a mainframe battery. The mainframe battery feeds energy to the shoulder cannon rounds, reloads it, powers up the wrist computer, and energizes the cloaking device. The Predator's armor, computer system, and external batteries are linked to the backpack by the mainframe computer. The mainframe battery can last up to 40 years, and even then can be easily recharged in minutes. The mainframe battery acts as a heart for the armor, and recharges durability to the armor when the predator chooses. As Lidge's armor is no longer of pure Yautja technology, this power source has been supplemented with Khaydarin Crystals. The backpack is protected by a 4 inch thick metal unknown on the periodic table. This metal is undoubtedly the strongest metal ever encountered by man. It is believed that it only radiation can make it rust and only then could it be punctured. The predator uses the backpack not only as a source for energy to the armor, but it is also used as a spinal protector. The predator's spinal cord is severely brittle, and can be broken easily. Thus, the invention of the backpack.
Gauntlets - The gauntlet houses controls for the self-destruct, Shift suit and their Shoulder burner auto-targeting override. It also houses a small weapon that fires a wishbone shaped projectile, reminiscent of the spears which can be fired by the combi-stick. The computer is tied in with the Yaujta ship, and can locate, pilot, or destroy it.
Wrist Computer - Run by the mainframe battery in the backpack, the arm bracer computer (integral to the bracer of the Yaujta offhand) is the control unit for many of the functions of the suit. It is designed with efficient use of space in mind, and the bracer will always be a little larger to accommodate this. From it, the hunter can control optics, sound analysis, temperature control (if heated mesh is in use), weapon power, and the holographic shift functions. This is also the countdown device for the self-destruct function of the micro power plant, housed inside the armband. The wrist computer can also set off a self-destruct device that makes an electrically charged light bomb explode, and its destruction leaves a crater with a diameter of 200 feet. Also, note that if the armband is destroyed, the nuclear plant becomes inert, and all power to the suit is gone. This device also contains small homing beacon for retrieval after a hunt. Lidge's wrist computer acts as a secondary in the unlikely event his power crystals are destroyed
Sat-com - The sat-com is a portable computer which shows the schematics of some determined object or building, as well as working like a positioning unit. When activated it displays a miniature which is projected out of the wrist computer as a 3-dimensional holographic image. The sat-com will also display the position of laser nets and mines in the area, as well as their projected area of effect.
Knee Pad - One of the most flexible of all the padding used by the predator is the kneepad. Made up of special metals more advanced than any other metal the predator uses. There is a holster on the outer edge of each kneepad. This holster can carry the Net Projectile Launcher, an unattached and/or spare wrist blade, or the combi-stick. The kneepads are very flexible, but very durable and strong. They improve the predator's running abilities, and form its posture for better bone structure.
Medikit - Though not a weapon, the medikit is an indispensable Yautja hunting item. This healing kit contains enough tools to repair superficial wounds, staunch blood-flow from a bullet wound, cauterize a lost limb or even perform minor surgery. While short on painkillers, the kit is highly effective. The medikit includes surgical blades, a crystallized-medicine burner, medicine dispensers, an emergency breather ,surgical hypodermics, shrapnel extractor, wound clamps, spatula, vials super antiseptic -(acidic enzyme, which when combined with silicon (glass/sand,) and limestone (chalk/tile/etc.), forms a form of regenerative biological mortar that can patch any hole from a bullet hole to a severed limb) -, Super stimulant (acts as a berserker drug), needles, scalpels, joint braces, patches, wound staplers and medicine. Case has 12 hour rechargeable battery and internal lights.
One of their technologies is the ability to grow skin back in minutes where the skin is broken, by speeding up the white cell duplication. Another technology is the ability to make pain stop, using a drug that magnifies "mind over matter" in the brain as well as sending powerful drugs to the effected area. A clean way of "stoning".
The predator is very strong, so the use of the med-kit is limited to close combat. The med-kit is carried in a holster on the belt. It carries within itself, several tools that are very durable, and portable, looking the size of a spoon, then growing into a dish. The med-kit is normally used once each hunt, and is not relied upon very often.
camouflage/Shiftsuit - Cloaking Device - Typically reserved for hunts against quarry which shoot back, the camouflage is the ultimate in stealth technology. By bending light waves around the wearer, the suit makes them practically invisible. However, it doesn't grant true invisibility. An alert opponent would be able to notice the heat wave-like shimmer, especially noticeable when the wearer is moving. The suit does not function well (if at all) immersed in water, and may be ineffective in environments saturated with material surrounding the wearer such as fog, rain, or dust. Only mounted weapons are affected by the cloak. This includes concealed weapons like retracted wrist blades, collapsed spears or other weapons kept hidden by backpacks and so forth. Once extended or revealed, the weapon is visible. The device is also used to mask Predator ships moving within enemy territories. For obvious reasons, it is only effective against targets that must rely on sight to find the Yautja.
This only affects vision, in no way dampening sound or reducing the smell of the predator. Creatures whose "sight" is not based on reflected light will not suffer (i.e. the Kainde Amedha have no eyes). The special lenses in their helmets also allow the Yautja to see each other when they have enabled their shift suits.
The armor is not heat insulated, so anyone with thermoptics will be able to spot the hunter unless the surrounding environment is of equal temperature. The suit is totally visible using any form of ultrasound based vision (which also hurts the Yautja's hearing), ultraviolet beam radar, or personal radar. It is 90% effective if motionless.
If one kills while cloaked it is a great dishonor. It ignores all laws of fair and honorable hunting, and does not give the prey a fighting chance. A Yautja who is discovered doing this is usually banished from the Clan, and is considered fair game for other hunters. The only exception to this is to "remove" anything standing between the hunter and his prey, or if the hunter is attacked by a creature he is not hunting.
Trophy Preparation Kit - Bone scrubber, flesh dissolving enzyme, drain tube with vacuum, catch bag, skull piercer, bone polish and preserver, dressing hooks, 300 ft cord.
Weapons- Predator weaponry varies from hunter to hunter and similar weapons may still be heavily customized among even a set hunting group. Older warriors tend to disdain the use of firearms, preferring to use melee weapons in order to increase the challenge. Except for the ceremonial dagger, shuriken and combi-stick none of a predator's equipment is immune to Xenomorph acid until they have completed their first xenomorph hunt and been granted with equipment treatment. Yautja get certain weapons as a right of passage, and some are assigned from clan supplies based on group hunts. The pole-arm and wrist blades are always personal weapons.
Wrist Blades – Known as Ki'cti-pa The Wrist Blade is the weapon of choice for most Yautja. Twin blades (or occasionally triple blades) with jagged double edges and sharp enough to tear through bone, are effective against large and small opponents. In the first Predator film, the Predator uses lasers to heat the blades for more powerful blows. The blades can be fired from the housing/slide in case of emergency, able to be launched individually at up to two (or three) foes within a range of 50'. The blades can be retrieved and reused. They can also be reversed to execute a back-handed slash. The blades are hinged, allowing the Yautja to separate the two blades from 2" to 8" apart to make attacks with larger (more spread-out) wounds or to dissaude prey from moving by trapping their head between the blades. These blades are serrated to cause maximum damage when stabbing and/or pulling the blades free, double-edged, and occasionally both top and bottom are edged, removing the need for the reversing blades. Using the Wrist Blades shows Yautja pride, because they prefer melee combat fights - face to face. The blades range from anywhere between 12 and 18 inches long and are retractable from a wrist gauntlet on the arm. They are forged from an unknown alloy, which is almost unbreakable. The blades are activated via a wrist trigger. The blades can be treated to be immune to Xenomorph acid. Lidge's wrist blades have been further upgraded using Psi-blades from Zealot armor to provide an energized barrier over each blade.
A scientist's medical report of a Predator indicates that the wrist blades wristband was grafted to the Predator's arm and removing it caused a pulmonary arrest. The researcher speculates that the cardiac arrest may be an anti-tampering mechanism and comments, "What kind of society would rather have its warriors die than be disarmed?"
Glove - A strength enhancing gauntlet which releases some form of kinetic energy with explosive force on impact. Used as a means of demolishing objects such as concrete from all directions, it provides quick access to the path wanted. Lidge's gloves cover his entire forearms and come equipped with fold out shields like bucklers.
Combistick - This elegant weapon is mostly used when facing several foes or tougher aliens. Like the wristblades it can be used while cloaked. The Staff (or Combi-Stick) is a self-powered telescoping spear that is merely one meter at its shortest length, but extends by two meters at each end. The combi-staff makes a formidable weapon for close range attacks, due to its length customization. It can also be thrown, to puncture through a target. Made of nearly unbreakable alloys, sharpened tips on either end produce electrical charges as it slices through any surface. The preferred weapon of the yautja, the combat staff has many uses. It can be used as a poleax, or wielded as a staff or spear. It is also a ranged weapon, capable of firing javelin -like projectiles at opponents. The staff can be used to bludgeon foes. It also houses a speared tip on one end that can do edged damage, in addition to a projectile tip from the other end. The projectiles tip can fire a small Y-shaped, sickle head or a burst of 6" needles as needed at any targets within 500'; the limit that can be fired is 4 sickles and 3 needle bursts before the supply must be replenished or retrieved and reused. When not in use the staff can be retracted and kept on the back in a holster for quick withdrawal if needed. Weighs 15 lbs.
Speargun/Dartgun - This is the predator's sniper weapon. It fires small and extremely sharp metal pieces. It's a good weapon for long range sniping since the sharp projectile can reach extremely high velocities and linear trajectories. These characteristics also make it a piercing weapon. It can also attach their flesh, like a nail-gun, to a wall or solid area.
There seem to be more then one model of the Spear Gun. The original design was seemingly built-in as part of the armor or gauntlet - similar to the Gauntlet Plasma Bolt - while the newer version is a separate hand-held pistol, possibly even ranged with visual scopes.
It is the perfect silent ranged weapon, with some types of the weapon capable of firing multiple projectiles at opponents. Culturally hunting with it is of little or no honour, being mostly used to reduce numbers and isolate the main prey.
Miniature Dart Gun - a small, portable tube about 1' long that fires darts via compressed gases. The darts are usually tipped with some sort of poison. Weighs 1 ounce and can hold a payload of three darts.
Netgun – in hand held models or mounted on the predators wrist, the Net Gun is small and usually reserved for ambushing a group of prey, when entering a major combat area and the temporary incapacitation of a subject is necessary, it is a highly specialized weapon used for capture or as a sadistic way of hunting. The net gun is not a projectile weapon, instead launches a web of razor-sharp wire powerful enough to propel a target to the floor/wall and pin them.
The net is only large enough to entrap one creature roughly Yautja sized, but it fires with enough force to pin a creature against a wall or thick column. The force of this projectile can also lift a 100 kilogram target off the ground and throw him up to 12 feet and flies at 200 mph to 500 mph, depending on the thickness of the oxygen in the immediate area. The net needs a blade to be cut.
This weapon can be used in two modes. The first doesn't kill and is used for capturing the prey. And the second mode consists of surrounding the prey and squeezing it to the death viciously cutting into the flesh. If the target tries to struggle the damage increases, and this keeps up until the subject is released or is killed. The net can also release on a trigger from the weapon. This weapon is almost useless when facing a large number of opponents. Range of 100'. Weighs 8 lbs.
Scatternet Gun - A large, bulky, plasma rifle that fires a solid-energy net at opponents. Payload of 15 nets with a range of 160'. Weighs 10 lbs.
Laser nets - The laser net is a flat triangular-shaped device that, when deployed, automatically secures itself against a solid surface. When activated by remote, the device will produce multiple laser beams stretching across a spacial void until they make contact with an adjacent surface. The lasers do not damage or cut into the adjacent surfaces they touch, but do cut and slice through organic material. When two or more laser nets are placed across from each other on parallel surfaces and activated, a laser "grid" results, disallowing all but the smallest creatures to pass through. A Predator places these devices behind himself to prevent any possible attack from behind while tracking prey and also has the added, if unintentional, effect of providing contrast against the surrounding area making prey easier to see.
Shoulder Mounted Plasma caster - This is the most efficient and versatile weapon of the predator's arsenal. It is one of a Yautja's most powerful weapons, and is used only in hunting prey with similar capabilities. This weapon is often discarded by older warriors. It has a 180 degree firing arc horizontally and 90 degrees vertically and fired the Predator's lower mandible (tusk), as the fire controls are located on the inside of the mask/helmet of the Predator's armor, other models locate the trigger on the Yautja's forearm.
It fires a plasma charge that has explosive properties, the weapon is capable of disintegrating most opponents. The charge is directed by a targeting system usually mounted on the Yautja's helmet but sometimes on the plasma caster itself. It can be described as an assault weapon used on heavy confrontations while leaving the hands free. It weighs five pounds and has a range of 1200 feet. The battery running the laser rack can run up to 10 years, and the battery generating the rounds is effective for up to 8 months, but can be recharged with a special kit.
The plasma caster is standard issue. It fires a bright blue or gold plasma pulse in a straight line. The pulse can be controlled to fire with more powerful charges ranging from minor stunning/wounding blasts or powerful enough to sunder the atmospheric plating of interstellar aircraft. There are specialized variants of the Plasma caster fire bolts which explode across wide areas with devastating force. They are also capable of firing variant blasts such as incendiary and anti-tank type blasts. There is also a weaker version of this weapon mounted on the Forearm.
This weapon and it's variants have been upgraded with Wraith Stun technology allowing them to fire a stunning blast instead of a deadly one, if so desired. The stunner fires an energy beam that causes temporary paralysis by overloading the body's sensory and motor nervous systems. Depending on how directly the energy beam hits the body, the victim may experience brief conscious paralysis or be knocked completely unconscious for a period of time. A "pins and needles" feeling is common in victims recovering from a stunner blast.
Forearm Plasma-Caster - Used in tandem with the more powerful, shoulder mounted version, the forearm plasma gun has far greater accuracy in the short range. The weapon, unlike the larger one, is not fired by the Predator's lower mandible (tusk), but is actually triggered from muscle reactions in the Yautja's arm. It weighs 2 pounds and has a range of 400 feet.
Blazer – Another shoulder mounted weapon, the blazer fires a high powered cutting lazer that can be swept around while firing.
Forearm Laser - This attachment is similar to the Forearm Plasma-Caster, but fires lasers instead and is designed for greater range than power, aiming up to 2000'. Weighs 2 lbs.
Plasma Pistol - The plasma pistol is a more powerful version of the plasmacaster. It doesn't have a targeting system and is a hand held weapon. But in compensation it possesses a more powerful explosive potential which makes it a good choice for simultaneously killing clusters of enemies. It must be used with care because if the target is near the explosion could harm the carrier. The weapon has different firing capabilities usually a straight line or in a parabolic arc. A third firing option fires a burst in an arced trajectory, capable of stunning xenomorphs and even jamming electronic equipment temporarily.
Scattergun – The Predator version of a shotgun like weapon, the scattergun fires many tiny shots each approximately two-thirds the power of a standard plasmacaster round. This weapon is effective for taking out many opponents at once with little threat to the user at close range.
Smartdisc - One of the most advanced pieces of equipment carried by the yautja, the smart weapon is a flat disc shaped weapon which can be held in the hand, or thrown at an opponent. The disc is another of the targeting device oriented weapon. The blades extend when drawn, bringing it from an oval configuration to a circular one. This device is capable of cutting through most substances with its devastating razor edges, and is powerful enough to cut through multiple targets with one throw. Computer-controlled gyros guarantee that the disc returns to its wielder, but if it becomes embedded in a solid material it can be returned by the push of a control-panel button. The upside of it is its extremely high piercing potential and the great downside is the slow firing rate. The disk does damage when thrown via a vibro-field used, but when hand-held it only does damage from the metal edges, as the field cannot be used when held. The discs may also be upgraded to have a rotating laser covering the edge. Has a total range of 100'. The disk weighs 3 lbs.
The Elders decree that the concentration needed to retrieve a combat standard disk is not present in minds of young Yuatja, therefore disks are not given until proven they can use it wisely. Some reports state that the disc is mentally controlled by the Predator. Though instances of Meta-Yautja are rare it is possible that the enhanced versions of this weapon are able to interact with the mental ability of their wielder.
Energy Flechette - A rapid fire, wrist mounted energy weapon that fires golden plasma projectiles that do little damage but take up a considerably small amount of energy. It proves most effective when defending against several enemies at once.
Mini-Spear Launcher - Mounted on one of the Yautja's wrists, this weapon fires minature versions of the predator spear that are between a few inches to a foot in length.
Ceremonial Dagger – presented to yautja for their first Xenomorph hunt. This ornate dagger is rarely used for combat. Instead, the dagger is treated to resist xenomorph acid and is used to field-dress the trophy when one is taken.
Solvent - A highly potent, corrosive blue chemical which dissolves organic material, including xenomorph carcasses. This substance is used to eliminate evidence of a Predator's presence, such as corpses, and can also be used as a weapon. The substance reacts violently with water. A small amount of the solvent can vaporize large quantities of water.
Wire - In Alien vs. Predator, the Predator Scar uses some form of a noose to kill one of the mercenaries when the team is walking down a corridor. The Predator hangs it down from above, a mercenary's head gets caught in it, and the Predator pulls him up. It is also used to hang defeated prey upside down by the ankles.
Self - Destruction Device - There are many uses for the control panel, such as changing vision modes, but the most remembered use is the self-destruct mechanism that can be activated through this device. Once activated this device begins a relatively short countdown. Red LEDs of Predator numerals on the Predator's gauntlet serve as a warning that the bomb is about to explode. The detonation of the bomb results in a small nuclear explosion which destroys an area equivalent to 300 city blocks. The device is usually used as a means of retaining honor, much like Japanese sepukku, allowing the hunter to commit suicide when he has been mortally wounded or inescapably trapped, in order to preserve his honor and remove any evidence of his existence. A similar device is found on Predator starships.
Grenade- (Wraith) Egg-shaped Wraith device that, much like a conventional Earth grenade, creates a sizable explosion.
Trophies-
Protoss Zealot: Taken Warp blade technology and incorporated it into wrist blades. Taken Plasma Shields from Zealot Armor and integrated them into his hybrid Yautja/Wraith armor. Used Plates from Zealot armor to cover some weaker areas. He has also kept a vial of Protoss blood.
