Pastrael Station is built into an asteroid large enough to have a useful gravitational pull, even when one is outside of the artificial gravity of the station itself. Terish Corp, the company that owns and operates the station, is strictly a neutral entity. The station is a common meeting place for diplomatic negotiations. Pastrael also houses a vast market district with facilities large enough to service most spacecraft.

Not that Berrikar was expecting trouble here, the neutral zone was strictly enforced with even more firepower than he had brought along
The station’s communication array had one psicrystal emitter, salvaged from a protoss ship that had wrecked here a few years back.
Pastrael had a somewhat permanent population hovering around a thousand people, but there were always several hundred visitors at minimum. The place did a lot of business, legitimate and otherwise, because it acted as a safe haven for such folks to meet. The law was strictly enforced, but its scope was very narrow. If you didn’t step across the few well marked lines, you could operate here happily.
