Although Veazey's rendition of Dark Matter is useful, the cosmolocial Dark Matter is also useful. Basically, they're WIMP [Weakly Interacting Massive Particles] which provide a universal gravitational skeletal structure for most matter in the universe. Of course, there are a few theories on it but research would be a better idea in order to fully understand it in one's own way.

If you use anything that was created by Veazey/Loki or anyone else of the AoA, you're making a mistake. Also, Dark Matter is a scientific term that Veazey tried to make his own, like the Transmundane, etc.

Dark Matter Scientific version, not Veazey's
Its existence is inferred from gravitational effects on visible matter and gravitational lensing of background radiation, and was originally hypothesized to account for discrepancies between calculations of the mass of galaxies, clusters of galaxies and the entire universe made through dynamical and general relativistic means, and calculations based on the mass of the visible "luminous" matter these objects contain: stars and the gas and dust of the interstellar and intergalactic medium.
An important property of all dark matter is that it behaves like and is modeled like a perfect fluid, meaning that it does not have any internal resistance or viscosity. This means that dark matter particles should not interact with each other (except through gravity), i.e. they move past each other without ever bumping or colliding.
