Winner Siege{Chaos}
08:06:14 Siege{Chaos} slow measured steps met with echoes that stretched out before the figure as he made his way through the hallways of the Arena. As the sounds grew closer, the figure of Seth walked casually into the stands. He was garbed in his usual trenchvest open in the front to reveal a bare toned torso down to black baggy pants that hung loosely over the tops of steel toed combat boots. A few strands of silver hung down before his emerald eyes which scanned the place casually as he walked. He was here for a specific reason today, and as such did not make his way for his usual spot. Instead, he merely walked to the center of the pit to await the arrival of his challenger.
08:16:54 Silver was already in the arena. It would be fairly easy to miss the girl’s tiny frame from where it sat in the first row, swallowed by the enormous chair which was designed and built for bigger men. The child was donned in her traditional turquoise scaled dress today, unlike the plain while yukata which she has been favoring of late. Her pale complexion was matched by her paper white hair which for today’s occasion was neatly tied back and no longer curtained her unnaturally dark eyes. Her form would be still, as if asleep, but when another presence disturbed the tranquility of the battle pit the child would stir. An uneasy glance would be given to her opponent for the day before she would reluctantly descend onto the sands as well, clutching a ladle. But not just any ladle, mind you! This ladle would make any house wife envy Silver. This ladle was of industrial quality, heavy, quality steel with a comfortable rubber grip.
08:22:59 Siege{Chaos} those emerald eyes continued to survey the arena for a few minutes before finally landing on the now stirring form of Silver. Definitely not what he was expecting. She was. . . Well to put it bluntly, a kid. Of course he had learned early on in this place that you never underestimate someone based on age or size. He had seem plenty of toddlers who held world ending power in their grasp. He didn't know this one, but that didn't mean he didn't suspect her of being strong enough to hold her own. After all, she was involved in this tournament as well. The ladle however confused him. He quirked an eyebrow at the sight and chuckled softly. “You planning on eating or fighting there little one?”
08:28:15 Silver did not like being laughed at. The girl’s bottom lip would tremble for just an instant before she finally seemed to get a better grasp of herself and offensively pointed the object of cooking straight at the mocking man. “Melee!” And that was the only reply which she gave him, hopefully clearing up her intentions and perhaps even voicing her wishes for the upcoming match. Her petite form would keep its distance from her opponent for the time being, having no intention of being the first to attack, it would seem.
12:21:16 Siege{Chaos} chuckled again as it appeared he had struck a nerve with this little one. He didn't care, it was in his nature to point out such stuff and enjoy the entertainment which followed. He listened almost boredly as she spoke. “Oh really then, and what would you consider to be melee? I know that so many around here have different definitions of the term and I would hate to make this an unfair fight for one so young.”
12:25:41 Silver ‘s already troubled features only grew darker when the man insisted of degrading her further by pointing out her age. The female would shift uncomfortably, as if already doubting her wisdom in engaging in this fight at all. Her mind would slowly wrap around the idea of ‘melee’ and a long pause would follow before any sort of a response was given at all. “No magic, psionics, ki, planar, or anything besides physical attacks.”
12:30:17 Siege{Chaos} smiled. “Alright I can deal with that just fine. I promise not to use any attacks that I can not manipulate physically.” He chuckled again. That was still an extremely long list of things he would be able to do. Besides, he liked melee better anyway. He would begin digging the toe of his right boot into the dirt casually, making a pile of five tiny pebbles. With a flick of his toe, he would send the pebbles into the air. Spinning to increase his momentum, he would bring his right foot back around in a kick, and launch those pebbles at nearly the speed of a pistol round. One pebble was aimed at each of her wrists, one at each knee, and one for the center of her chest.
12:38:14 Silver would not simply stand there and wait for him to complete the attack. As soon as the pebbles were dug up, Silver had a fairly good idea of how they would be used and thus was prepared to respond accordingly. Moments before his foot actually touched the stones, the child would start off at a sprint, moving roughly in half a circle at a clockwise direction. The girls aim was to either approach him from the side or from the back, out of his sight. If she was allowed to approach, the advance would be cautious. If she managed to get within reaching distance, the steel ‘weapon’ would be brought in a lovely arc above her head, traveling from left to right and aimed to strike him squarely in the head. If the target decided to respond, her actions would be adjusted accordingly.
12:43:35 Siege{Chaos} stopped messing around with the pebbles when she finally began moving. He simply stood there, not even following her with his eyes as she made her way around the pit to try and come up behind him. She approached cautiously, and he didn't move. She raised the weapon, and he didn't move. Then she finally began her swing and he sprang into action. He would flex his legs and shoulders almost instantly and spring up into the air doing a layout back flip over the point where Silver was standing, leaving that 'weapon' to swing through the empty space where his head had been. Of course that wasn't all of it. As he crested his jump, looking down upon silver, he would have his own attack. Muscles in his neck would tense putting pressure on glands situated throughout the area and releasing a spray of acid from his mouth aimed strait down where Silver was standing.
08:42:32 Silver did not carry out the attack to its fullest extend and instead decided to cut it short, simply because the target she has been aiming for was no longer there. The trajectory of his flight would be noted and the girl would adjust her position accordingly. It would take time for the man to perform the back flip, no matter how fast it was done, and during that time Silver would shift back in order to position herself roughly to the side of wherever he was planning on landing. Her right foot would be swiftly brought down sideways at his kneecap, aiming to cave the vital joint inwards as soon as his feet touched the ground. This would leave little time for him to maneuver around – he would first need to regain his balance before attempting to move but Silver was not planning to give him time for that. Meanwhile, the misused cooking utensil would be brought into action once again and aimed to the back of his head in a swinging motion that resembled her last ladle attempt. If the two should both succeed, his--
08:42:43 [Silver] head and his upper body should be tilted forwards while the stability of his feet were weakened, possibly causing him to stumble forwards. The acid would most likely shoot straight forwards from the man simply because it is impossible for him to move the head around when the muscles of the neck are tensed up. If that were the case, the liquid would probably sizzle away on the sands because Silver was located to the side of him if all went well.
08:56:41 Siege{Chaos} the first thing to note here would be that only the muscles around the glands tensed. Seth still had full range of motion in his neck. As such, when he noticed Silver beginning to move, he would merely turn his head and keep aimed at her as he released the spray of acid. As Seth landed, assuming the acid didn't stop her attempt, his knee would be kicked. The joint bent sideways, and Seth shifted all of his weight to his right leg for a brief second. If the joint dislocating gave him any pain though he didn't show it. In fact the joint seemed to come out easier than should have been the case. As soon as Silver's foot released pressure, the joint would quickly snap back into place and Seth shifted his weight between both feet again. As for the ladle, he actually wasn't going to stop it this time. While Silver was swinging her improvised weapon, Seth's left hand would shoot out in a palm thrust for the girl's chest. Enhanced reflexes would bring his hand forward in the time it took for the ladle to reach his<c>
08:56:51 Siege{Chaos} head, his hand moving so fast it would only be a blur to a normal human, and genetically engineered muscles would provide enough force to shatter a steel door. At this range, she most likely wouldn't get away from an attack at that speed. As for the ladle, it would connect with the back of his head with a nice loud thunk. Dermal and sub dermal armor combined with nanite armor and alloy enhanced bone would mean that the ladle was more likely to be damaged than Seth's head.
09:10:36 Silver was fairly surprised when the head began to move, against all of her better judgment. While her foot was working diligently at attempting to cripple the man, her ladle was hastily maneuvered from offensive into a defensive action. The item would be fairly close to his head to begin with, since he did not seem to be blocking it, so she would reposition it in despair closer to his mouth in order to act as an umbrella against the acid spittle. Being metal, however, the ladle would not appreciate the onslaught of the acid and would begin to erode but not instantly. It should buy her time enough to come up with a better strategy. When his knee cap was harmlessly dislocated, Silver would shift away the offending palm with her lower arm, guiding it off course from the inside and aiming to steer it clear of her body and to the outside of it. This however was merely a safety precaution because by this time the girl would be trying to retreat with a few hurried leaps backwards. If she was still alive and well, her-
09:10:49 [Silver] dark eyes would re-examine her opponent before coming up with a simple conclusion. ‘It’s a monster.’
09:18:06 Siege{Chaos} trying to shift away the blow with her arm was going to prove rather difficult. He was exceedingly strong. Genetically perfect muscles held bundles packed tighter than a normal human allowing for much more strength in the same space. Those muscles were further enhanced with polymers that produced over 100 times the force of natural muscle. Nanite enhancements added further strength as did protein veins to allow for more blood flow through the muscles. If Silver was human, she wasn't going to have any luck with pushing the blow aside, and her ribcage would shatter from the blow. If she wasn't human, she might fare better depending on what abilities she had.
09:19:42 [Silver] (If he did not stop her from retreating, she should have leaped backwards before the collision o.0;)
09:20:44 [Siege{Chaos}] depends on how fast she is. If she's human she wouldn't have had time.
09:24:13 [Silver] I dont like the fact that your character has heavy defenses and high speed. If he is metal and heavy, he should not be moving that quickly ~ ~. But thats just my point of view. At any rate, Silver is fairly fast so it should come down to timing the leap.))
09:26:09 [Siege{Chaos}] this character has alot of enhancements. 11 pages worth actually and that's the old stuff before the updates. He's composed of biotechnology and genetic enhancements, tons of them
09:26:40 [Silver] Aaah. ill just post.)
09:36:02 Silver ‘s sluggish mind was finally stirring to wakefulness now in the midst of a battle, and just in time it would seem. It would only take Silver a few moments to gauge her own strength against that of her opponent and to figure out her odds of shifting that arm clear of her torso. But never fear! When the arm refused to bulge, the girl’s hand would wrap itself against his forearm instead of trying to push it away. Her arm would remain tense and semi outstretched. Her goal was to try and keep that fatal limb at a set distance while not caving it at the pressure. If all went well… the unfathomable strength and agility of her opponent would give her an additional boost of steed in her retreat. Silver would naturally be careful to release the limb when it reached its limits which should make her skid backwards a few feet... or more.
09:41:40 Siege{Chaos} not quite what he had planned, but this would work. As Silver grasped his forearm, his wrist would rotate bringing his hand around to grasp her own arm and dig in with inch long talons. She might let go at the end of the thrust, but he wasn't going to. As soon as he reached the end of his thrust, he would jerk back with enough strength to tear the arm from her body or in the very least dislocate the shoulder. If he took the arm off, he would merely toss it aside. If the shoulder dislocated, he would continue pulling with enough strength to lift the small girl and spin quickly tossing her across the pit into the far wall with enough force to break the stone blocks which formed the ring of the pit. This of course hinged on his grasping her arm, a simple task since she already had a hold of his which put his hand right next to her arm in the first place.
09:51:20 Silver was jerked forwards but proved to be of a tougher build then she looked for the arm did not entirely come off. An audible crunch would be heard when the child’s shoulder left its designated socket and with a sharp cry of surprise the girl descended to her knees. “Stop it…” Her dark eyes would be downcast and loose white hair would prevent him from seeing any readable expression on her pale features. Perhaps her opponent was not so quick to rob her of her life and would allow her to continue. “… The match is yours.” A forfeit? It would appear so. Silver still valued her life and was not so dim witted that she could not judge her own strength and the odds of her survival.
09:54:29 Siege{Chaos} shrugged and let go of the arm. He wasn't planning on killing her, but she would have been brought back anyway if it had happened so he felt free reign to fight as needed. She had conceded though, and that was enough for him. He took a step forward and leaned down to pop her shoulder back into place, a soft white glow escaping the palm of his hands as he mended the damaged tissue. “You're free to go, but if you weren't expecting things such as this to happen you should never have entered the tournament.”
