My fight against Wolfprince. The whole first and the first half of the second attack are missing, but nothing overly exciting happened in the beginning anyway. Enjoy.
----------
13:07:52 [K-OS] <C> Injure him? Perhaps. But, K-Os learned to never leave it up to the opponent. As air compresses, water-vapor in the air is also carried with it and condenses into heavy droplets of water on and all around Wolf in about a five to six foot radius, more than likely clouding his vision with a thick haze. K-OS would pulse mana forth only with the intent of splitting certain gates which kept loads of planar energy from dumping into the physical realm. Coupled with the previous detour of these leylines, loads of electric potential would flood these still-online leylines and aim to dump themselves into Wolfprince. Now, keep in mind, these leylines are just a means of connection--they are by no means "long distance" in relative length. To amplify and help conduct a more destructive end, the hazey vapor on and around Wolf at the time would keep the flow of energy if connection was made, decreasing the amount of time needed to end him. |·|
13:14:52 [Wolfprince] *Fenris would feel the crackling of energy strike his armour, causing it to glow from the heat of the resistance it was putting up, as it struck the portions of his body that were unarmoured mostly his head, the natural wards would shine as well, crackling with the strain of holding back the destructive force with their own arcane power, the electricity burst all around him, causing his body to seize up, a constant and enhanced flow of adrenalin kept his body from succumbing along with his wards which essentially halved the lethality of the attack. He would bring his blade down again in a flourish, using sixth sense, along with the flame to catch his opponents own electrical output around his body, he would essentially use the "pulling" nature of the flame along with the physical balance of his flourish to "pull" the electricity around him once the flames actually physically touched the electricity, the ions holding them together would begin to disperse scattering and hopefully disapating the electric flow, -
13:19:26 [Wolfprince] -if Fen timed it right, the lightning he had managed to manipulate would coincide with the rest of the attack at the exact point his flames "dispelling" capability took effect causing a chain reaction to essentially disapate the spell before it could linger, Fenris would be left haggard however, his hair singed, as well as his skin, bits of static electricity would jump from finger to finger, but he would waste no more time on the defensive his opponent seemed to be most confortable spell-slinging so he in turn would rush off, the pain of his injuries able to be ignored due to the enhanced flow of adrenaline. As he rushed forward he would draw his other blade, the rapier Okinbrand, which in itself burst into flame, though he doubted such a simple elemental attack would be of much use to him, he still relished the blades martial properties however. As he closed the distance to his opponent he would veer off slightly to the left thrusting the rapier towards his opponents knee cap, which was held in Fen's left -
13:20:52 [Wolfprince] - hand while leaning his body away from his opponent, utilizing Greydring as his defense and holding it across his shoulder, while he lowered the rest of his body, as Fenris thrusted he would curve the trajectory at the end, intending to use the force of it, regardless as to whether it hit or not to propel him into a seemingly evasive maneuver.*
13:38:43 [K-OS] |·| As the leylines acted simply as rivers to allow the flow of elemental energy to surge through Wolfprince after the gates were split, K-OS was allowed to regenerate and build up mana as Wolf became busy with a defense. As such, K-OS had in mind what he'd do when Wolf got to him and when Wolf shifted to the right, K-OS itself would shift to accommodate, sliding his right leg out of the way as he twisted to face what would be Wolf's chest. K-OS's sneaky little tail would actually zip into the opposite direction K-OS moved, seeing as how it's length was definitely considerable, and spring skyward only as tall as Wolf was in an attempt to bite and latch onto the back of Wolf's head. Because Wolf seemed particularly able to react quickly to the last two attacks K-OS attempted, K-OS would simultaneously aim a vicious, open-handed uppercut with his left appendage, preparing his right arm for a defense of some sort. The uppercut was aimed at an awkward angle, however. With the palm of it's hand facing out to the <C>
13:40:07 [K-OS] <C> left, K-OS swung from lower right to upper left in an attempt to use Wolf's linear momentum against him and any defensive maneuver he planned which continue on that line. |·|
13:46:05 [Wolfprince] *Fenris would smirk. "NOW WERE TALKING!" he was in his element now, and as his opponent twisted to evade his first strike, Fenris would pivot as well when the tail was aiming to strike the back of his head, he would extend the hand holding greydring further across his shoulder, while turning his wrist upward to bring his blade up into a parry across his head as the tail lashed forth, Fen's pivot would carry him to face his opponents incoming uppercut, and the arm being used to parry would be elbow outward towards the incoming open palm strike of his opponent. As the strike made its way towards him, and his parry finished he would bring his elbow upwward and forward into the bottom of his opponents open forearm intending to use its uppercut trajectory to cause an overextension of the maneuver and force it over Fen's head. He would then bring the rapier which had missed towards his opponents chest, bringing it up as he parried the tail with his other blade, and hopefully using the own foreward momentum of his -
13:46:20 [Wolfprince] -opponents uppercut to force him into the already situated rapier.*
14:06:28 [K-OS] |·| The beasts attempted blow met Wolf's upper limb with considerable force and it was at this K-OS was a bit stunned Wolf wasn't at least knocked back a bit, even if the bulk of the linear momentum was redirected. K-OS would hunch over just as Wolf made the thrust, making the beasts face practically level with Wolf's thrust. However, as stated before, K-OS's right arm was poised for defense and it would execute such a maneuver. As the blade sliced through the air, the creature would twist his arm and allow the forward-arching plates of armour on his forearm to connect with the edge and flat of the blade, lodging it into place and locking it's position with a twist to the left [Wolf's right]. The purpose of this was to position Wolf's own blade below his own arm which was extended upwards to prevent him for lowering it unless he wanted to get skewered with his own weapon. Using the potential built up in his expertly crafted legs and his immensely strong back and shoulder, K-Os would subsequently heave himself <C>
14:10:40 [K-OS] <C> up at a very steep forward angle. The desired result of connection would be a vicious head butt, accented with the piercing of those eleven-inch long spikes into the underside of Wolf's mouth and jaw, probably continuing up into his brain. As for K-OS's tail, it's be parried into a position which was more to Wolf's right and it'd continue along the frontal surface, between the two in the gap which was provided by the lower end of the steep angle which K-OS himself maneuvered. |·|
14:20:06 [Wolfprince] *Fenris would have noticed his blade being held by his opponent, not good, and he was being twisted to the left? He saw his opponent lower his head, and if he had not been a 7 foot demon bird or whatever, he would have countered with his own head butt, but seeing as how he was more likely to be skewered rather than to do damage himself, as his opponent prepared Fenris would use the held blade as leverage pulling himself up as his opponent prepared to lower his head, in an attempt to bring his own armoured knee into his opponents incoming jaw while attempting to wrench his own blade away, counting on the fact that if his attack was successful the armoured knee, coupled with Fen's not equal but still formidable strength would free him from those armoured plates. If successful this would buy him time to bring his other blade back to his right in time to craft a defense against the tail, all in all if the first knee strike landed Fen use his other leg to kick off of his opponents chest, keeping his other blade -
14:33:39 [K-OS] |·| One must keep in mind that K-OS's left arm had been free to do whatever it wanted--it was only his right arm doing a bit of work right now. As Wolf gained leverage and the knee connected, K-OS's gaze would be prompted up and his seething eyes of hellish anger were sanguine with incandescence. A slight snarl announced that something was left, weather it was pain, annoyance or a little of both. However, the knee met a potential barrier [K-OS's jaw] and needed time to reverse. Regardless, K-OS aimed to swiftly take hold of Wolf's ankle with an adamant grip. Now, it would seem Wolfprince failed to realize something. The initial strike from K-OS's tail happened because it was veering around Wolf's left and as it was parried, it fell and continued to veer again to surface at Wolf's right. K-OS's last actions confirmed that the tail was continuing in front of him--but not for a head-on attack. No, it was meaning to finish the circle, effectively veering around Wolf's left again. What did this all mean? It <C>
14:38:36 [K-OS] <C> meant K-OS's tail was pretty much wrapped around Wolf's midsection, attempting to grip him with an arduous squeeze, which shouldn't be too hard seeing as how the close proximity and the completion of position was dire. So now, to counteract Wolf's desire to gain leverage, K-OS would use the fact that Wolf had no stable foundation to hold his center of gravity, leaning forward and down to slam Wolf down and backwards into the sand. But, this wasn't all. The near simultaneous grip of the tail around Wolf and K-OS's grasp of his ankle would allow quick reaction--the tail would pull one way and his arm would pull the opposite direction. In short, K-OS was trying to crush Wolf's midsection while trying to literally rip off his leg. |·|
14:41:45 [Wolfprince] *Fenris had only one chance, as his ankle was grasped, he would twist at the last second tilting downward so that he would be upside down, literally hanging by his ankle facing his opponent, the sudden change in proximity might have caused the tail to have to conpensate for its binding maneuver. "I hate to do this..." it was a cheap shot in his oppinion but he could not totally rely on his physical skills to win this, as he fell he would take a deep heaving breath, his chest expanding to three times its normal height, assuming his other blade had been freed and his other had failed to guard he would attempt to bring his blades under his opponents exerting pressure on the back of his tremendous knees with the sharp ends of the blades. He would then release his inhalation blowing an extreme gale force wind directly from his mouth, and hoping that the sudden attack would force his opponent to cut his own legs off below the knee.*
14:49:43 [K-OS] |·| A very simple action would be taken to counteract Wolf's tilting downwards. Remember, K-OS is using the odd armouring on the back of his wrist to hold Wolf's blade, not his actual finger/talons. So, the sudden shift Wolf tried to cause would alert K-OS and just like a bird of prey, the creature would use the close proximity of his open palm to Wolf's right shoulder area and clamp down with thousands of pounds of force per square inch. The desired result would've been Wolf's positional lock. If he still wanted to go that way, he could--if he wanted to his arm ripped off as well and seeing as how trying to slide forward or to the other side would only push K-OS's talon in deeper, those were not good choices either. As for Wolfprince possibly trying to lean back, sure. Go ahead. It'd only aid in K-OS slamming him into the ground in the first place--again, not a smart choice. Wolf had effectivly got himself cornered within K-OS's grasp as he continued to try and rip Wolf's left off. Not too long now.
08:05:18 [Wolfprince] *Fenris was in trouble, not only was his opponent stronger, more durable, capable of magic, and had a dangerous extra appendage, he also obviously knew how to make use of his great power. Fenris loathed to use brute force, but it was either that or die. As his body was manipulated in order to keep him from going down, he would completely open the floodgates to his instinct, dropping his swords and moving his hand up to his opponents bicep, resisting the pressure since it was about to lessen considerably. His vision blurred and darkened, before being reborn in a brilliant glow of crimson. The hand grasping his opponents bicep would enlarge, the fingernails growing long, more like potrusions of bone rather fingernails. His muscles bulged to even greater degrees as whatever clothing Fenris wore dropped off of him as if there was nothing there to hold them. Fenris was not as dramatic with his transformation as most where, there was no great cry of power, no drawn out terrible metamorphosis, it just happened -
08:13:14 [Wolfprince] - quick as thought. Now his opponent was no longer attempting to hold a weakling humanesque creature, but a 7 foot, silver haired Wolf like mutant. The runic tattoos that littered his body would give way to fur, the protective patterns forming a complex chain of esoteric patterns along his body. His opponent was now facing something roughly equal in size, strength, and durability and the fear of amputation was longer there for the massive creature his opponent tried to hold. The great maw would dart forward with adders speed searching for the throat, if the creature had armoured that however, he would merely go for the face, or any part of his opponents body that was exposed. While simultaneously using his new found strength to throw his forearm and elbow into his opponents bicep and trying to wrench the iron grip off, while using his free leg to kick hard against his opponents exposed knee cap. Regardless of strength it only took 12 pounds of pressure to break the fragile bone, considering his opponent-
08:15:28 [Wolfprince] -s massive size and strength, it would probably take something more like quadruple that amount, however that was power that the new body was mroe than capable of producing. Fenris' sudden surge in strength, coupled with his change in size, and his viscious counters should have been more than enough to force his opponent to let go in time for him to leap out of the way of the incoming tail though the creature was prepared to grasp it, or even parry it with its own razor sharp claws if need be.*
08:20:53 [K-OS] |·| In the advent of his opponent taking on this rather unexpected metamorphosis, K-OS was determined to keep control over this matter. After all, K-OS still boasted some major advantages over Wolf. To begin this, K-OS's feathers would activate an innate defense when heavily grappled, especially by such a monstrous opponent. Becoming rigid and sharp, these features would spring into something more like glossy spikes all around K-OS's body where feathers and scales were apparent. As such, his serpentine appendage would become more like a vine heavily laden with vicious spikes and barbs and seeing as how Wolf never countered being wrapped and constricted by his appendage, it was a miracle to K-OS that Wolf, while in his human form, wasn't crushed to death my the immense force expelled by such a pure-muscle beast. In any event, not only would Wolf have to deal with that pain and damage, but also K-OS's talons still in Wolf's right shoulder. Using his adamant grip to hold Wolf's newly formed body <C>
08:24:59 [K-OS] <C> at bay just a bit, it was of no particular concern of what wounds the bites would suggest. Afterall, at this point, Wolf would be trying to bite in places where he could potentially expose the soft innards of his mouth to dangerous barbs and spikes. Elegant wings of the arch chimera would flare and deliver a single beat of mammoth proportions. The result would be the event of becoming airborne. A few more swift flaps of his powerful wings and K-OS would take Wolf for a little ride. |·|
08:28:32 [Wolfprince] *As his opponent turned himself into a walking pincushion, The own natural wards that protected fenris would come into play, they were wards against the magical and the mundane, and as his body made contact they would crackle with the strain of holding impeding the damage, it seemed he had been bound by his opponents tail, which was now exhibiting spikes, once again the wards crackled with the strain of impeding that damage, however the crushing had not taken place as of yet. The new body of Fenris was much more resilient and would give his opponent a much harder time with constriction. What his opponent probably didnt know was that he was merely pissing Fenris off, and now that he had increased in size he had much more leverage as his legs were now back on terra firma. He would have bit the spikey potrusions but something was wrong, it seemed even his own mouth was tattooed with those wards, pulling his tongue back and using nothing but those long jagged 6 inch fangs he would attempt to bite them off -
08:33:41 [Wolfprince] - cracking the brittle scales. As his opponent tried to take off and go airborn, any slack his opponent had had with that lasso like tail would have quite literally flown out the window. The wolf would dig his heels into the dirt, using his bottom claws to gain a grip in the ground, as well as his own massive muscles to fight back his opponents wings. Granted he could probably carry off Fen in human form as easily as a roc would with an elephant but he had forgotten they were battling on equal footing now. Fenris would place his clawed hands upon the now rigid tail regardless of the sharp pinions that littered it, and feel the blood leaving hand, but pain was now irrelevant. As his opponent took off, the Beast would pivot with his opponents direction, putting all of his massive strength and body weight into the swing, as he attempted to use his opponents own momentum and add his own strength to it. The hopeful result would see Kos slammed back into the ground with stone shattering force, the hands of the -
08:36:37 [Wolfprince] -beast nearly impervious to the pain that involved grasping his opponents tail. regardless as to whether the first part would succeed Fenris would place his other claw on the spiky appendage, his instincts telling him that due to its serpentine nature it would be nearly impossible to break, it was just to flexible, however instead he would attempt to "Wring" the tail, using the flexible bone structure to his advantage and shattering the thousands of tiny bones that made up the arch chimera's tail.*
08:42:25 [K-OS] |·| It would seem Wolf made some misinterpretations about his current position relative what he was trying to do. Seeing as how the attempt made my K-OS to slam Wolf into the ground was never countered, one can safely say Wolf was working from the ground this entire time. As such, Wolf digging his heel claws into the ground was only effective if K-OS was attempting to take off at a greater angle degree. However, K-OS was prompted to take off nearly at a perfect ninety-degree angle. As such, Wolf wouldn't find a whole lot of leverage to keep himself on the ground even if he had all that massive strength. Because of this, his attempts to slam K-OS back into the ground were void and Wolf's own momentum was at K-OS's mercy. These runes or tattoos on Wolf seemed to be protecting him from almost ALL damage which means K-OS is going to have to draw some force from other places. The bite attempted by Wolf to maybe pry some of his rigid, spikey feathers off was just narrowly thwarted by a quick movement of K-OS's <C>
08:46:27 [K-OS] <C> left arm, breaking whatever unstable grip Wolf had to begin with. As such, this left arm would ascend, attempting to grasp Wolf's incoming neck and head to prevent the mauling gesture. For a bit, all K-OS could do was hold Wolf at bay until they reached sufficient altitude, which wasn't long--less than a few minutes with K-OS's amount of strength. So, it would also be save to say that, because Wolf would probably still be locked at this point, to sudden grasp and try to free himself from K-OS's tail was fairly difficult, to say the very least. In the current position, the attempt would be nearly impossible, seeing as how K-OS strength was roughly equal to Wolf's--at least for now. |·|
09:01:03 [Wolfprince] *This was bad, his opponent seemed to have an answer for everything, and those damn rigid spikes were not helping at all. As Fenris opponent attempted to grasp his neck, and head, Fens right arm would come off from the side and slap Kos' incoming hand to the side, utilizing the principal that when one is moving an arm forward they are temporarily losing leverage. As such if successful the hand would be brushed to the side, the claws attempting to rend through the armour as best they could while grasping it, and hopefully at least denting it. Despite Fenris' impressive wards his opponent held a major advantage with defensive capability. As his opponents incoming hand was slapped to the side, Fenris would make use of the extreme proximity his opponent seemed so fond of, and use the same hand he had used to deflect the first attack to throw his own massive elbow towards his opponents right side. This would be hard to avoid since Kos would literally have to reach around with his opposite hand in order to block -
09:09:47 [Wolfprince] - in time. If successful the strike would hit dead onto his opponents left eye socket, still maintaining a grip on his opponents forearm armour and making sure to avoid the plates in case they could somehow lock his claw in place. He would simply invert his elbow constantly while maintaining his grip, trying to bash his opponents eye socket in. If he tried to use that beak to bite Fenris elbow, he would most likely choke on it. The other arm would move towards his opponents tail, they were equal in strength, While he lifted his right claw up and attempted to lodge it into the shoulder socket of his opponents free hand, trying to keep it from intervening in Fenris savage onslaught. His goal was to force himself free before his opponent dropped him back down to the ground as he was no doubt planning, or at least planning to pile drive Fenris. Fens free claw would once again attempt to wrench the binding appendage off, banking on the fact his opponent would be distracted by the elbow and the other leg. And -
09:11:47 [Wolfprince] -If his opponent did not find a way to counter the constant elbow strike he would find his eye busted, and shortly afterwards his skull bashed in.*
09:17:29 [K-OS] |·| Truthfully, Wolf was getting a bit annoying now. But, actually, Wolf would end up helping K-OS a bit. Wolf, again, forgot to remember that K-OS's right talons were STILL in the same position as before when he stopped from twisting upside down. As such, they were firmly around Wolf's respective right shoulder, if not still dug into his flesh and muscle. As such, the forward attempts to repeatedly elbow K-OS would be greatly hindered, if not completely stopped all together. With that force leaking out in vain, K-OS wouldn't feel too much pain, if any, but he was greatly frustrated. In the advent of subsequent attempts by Wolf, K-OS quickly drew in air, hissing as air slid between his onyx-hued chompers. Before long, K-OS would released this built up force in a deafening roar filled to the brim with an ireful retribution. Because the sound was so powerful and Wolfprince pretty much caught the muzzle-velocity of the horrid blast, it'd be safe to say that it might greatly hinder his senses to the <C>
09:23:04 [K-OS] <C> point of severe disorientation due to a largely unbalanced equilibrium. As such, Wolf's hand-eye coordination could become royally screwed. This roar was by no means a quick little bark, either. It was drawn out, almost ensuring the deviating overload of whatever constitution he or his wards had. Even if the effects lasted for a second or two, it'd be enough for K-OS to effectively wrench his right shoulder back, shattering Wolf's grip on him as well as simultaneously putting K-OS in a position to shove Wolf away with the combined force of both arms. However, the persistency of K-OS's serpentine friend would hold up. Now, remember that build up mana from a while ago? It was never really used--it just built up in K-OS's reservoir. Sure, it was limited but it by no means a small amount of mana. Imbuing itself with a good portion of this mana, physical stats would skyrocket and unless Wolf could suddenly become a couple times stronger than what we already was, he would be below K-OS in strength once <C>
09:24:38 [K-OS] <C> more. The added strength would surge to his tail and to his wings, which would beat again and propel K-OS through the at their high altitude above the clouds. This speed would build and build--sooner or later, Wolf would experience how his body held up under transonic speeds. |·|
09:25:55 [Wolfprince] *Fenris was annoyed as well, and he was losing, even to his feral mind that fact was obvious. Fenris would opt for something both stupid, and highly risky. As his opponent prepared to release some sensory overload, Fenris would have taken his own deep breath, his chest expanded to three times its normal size again, just as his opponent prepared his own inhalation. The resulting expansion of his chest might have given Fenris some slack in terms of the tail holding him at bay as his opponent released his sonic assault, Fenris released his howling gale. He knew that they would both most likey be harmed, however he felt the encroachment of the supernatural and his opponent was no doubt preparing a spell of some sort. However he doubted that his opponent could muster a counter at point blank range while preparing his roar at the same time. As his opponents mouth opened to release his roar Fen released his gale The sheer force of both of the attacks coinciding would either cancel eachother out, or reflect off -
09:30:24 [Wolfprince] - of eachother blowing both combatants away from eachother before his opponents stat boost took place. Even if the attacks canceled eachother out the resulting output of energy would have been more than enough to break Fen free of the tail and send him careening to the ground, however a wind attack against his opponent who had wings and was already airborn would perhaps catch him in a horrible slipstream of hurricane wind . If his opponent tried to constrict Fens chest from gathering air, he would find it quite hard seeing as how the stat boost had not taken effect yet, and he had been trying to crush him since he had gotten Fenris in his current predicament in the first place, so his body was still holding up. Assuming it all happened he would have fallen a great distance, lethal to him in his human form, but his opponent had not carried him as high as he had meant too as of yet, and his knees would buckle as he landed on all fours, preparing another gale blast but not releasing it.*
09:43:50 [K-OS] |·| Well, the counter is simple. Seeing as how Wolf would need to take in a rather large portion of air to create this howl, its safe to say it'd be hard, if not impossible to do seeing as how their strength is equal. Why? Well, when a force encounters a potential barrier and they stalemate, nothing happens. No effect. So, in essence, K-OS's tail is the potential barrier and Wolf would be the force. So, seeing as how the two are equal, the circumstances would tip into K-OS's favor. After a certain shallow point Wolf would just not be able to muster a howl that would continue along the same likes of power to continuity of K-OS's own roar. In the longrun, if Wolf could not suddenly acquire loads of strength to overpower K-OS in order to take in the amount of air needed for his attempt, it would not work. It's simple physics. So, unless Wolf has some devisating ace up his sleeve, K-OS would continue to fly at blinding speeds, eventually sliding pass the transonic barrier, condensing air around them into a <C>
09:44:08 [Wolfprince] alright kos you win

13:07:52 [K-OS] <C> Injure him? Perhaps. But, K-Os learned to never leave it up to the opponent.
